The Olympic museum

The Olympic Museum presents a vast cultural program that celebrates the introduction of urban sports – skateboard, surfing, breaking, sports climbing, BMX freestyle, and 3x3 basketball – at the Olympic Games.

The main exhibition explores how these sports became part of the Games, while a series of art installations celebrates the sports’ diverse cultural expressions and lifestyles. The programme is supported by guided tours, cultural events, a digital exhibition and more !

Open in Easter Monday and for special event

Closed on the 24, 25 and 31 of December and January 1st

Access

By train Train to Lausanne and M2 metro line to Ouchy-Olympique. The metro stop is 10 minutes walking distance from The Olympic Museum.

By metro or TL city bus M2 metro line and No. 2 bus (Ouchy-Olympique stop) or No. 8 or 25 (Musée Olympique stop)

By car Take the A9 motorway, Maladière exit

By boat There are regular boats from Evian, Vevey, Montreux and Villeneuve during peak season. Landing stage at "Ouchy" just 400m from the museum.
